Suppliers of the cement industry used the VABM conference as a platform to present new technologies and developments to an audience of professionals.
As a globally active specialist partner and with their filter technology being used in Vietnamese cement plants, Intensiv-Filter was asked to support the symposium by contributing a technical presentation. In recognition of our support and commitment in the Vietnamese industry, Mr Lanh Dao bo Xay dung, Leader of the Ministry of Construction in Vietnam, presented Intensiv-Filter with a trophy cup.
The Vietnamese government has set itself the goal of reducing environmental pollution within the next years. Intensiv-Filter will be a significant partner in their endeavours to lower dust exposure.
In many places electrostatic filters, which leave a high residual dust content in the cleaned air, are still being used. Our presentation about the various possibilities of retrofitting old electrostatic filters into modern sleeve filters discussed the technical possibilities and process engineering optimisations. The retrofitting concepts presented met with great interest with representatives of the plant operators and also with renowned major machine manufacturers, some of who are already using our filtering installations.
The symposium was concluded by a tour of the cement works in Camp Pha and Thang Long. Both plants have filtering installations "made by Intensiv-Filter".
Our technology meets with excellent response from machine manufacturers, plant operators and government agencies.
The next VABM will take place from 1 to 4 December 2009 in Ho Chi Minh City.
