Order for dedusting a wagon tipping facility
The iron ore deposits at Nizhny Tagil in the Urals region near Ekaterinburg have made it the oldest centre of the steel industry in Russia. The locally based company, NTMK, is one of the largest steelworks complexes in Russia with a complete production cycle involving ore extraction, sintering, coking, refractory production, blast furnace, steel smelting and rolling operations.

The steelworks has been undergoing continuous modernisation for some years now. In this context, Intensiv-Filter received the order through its Russian partner, SovPlym, for dedusting of a wagon tipping facility. The CombiJet type row filter is configured for a volume flow of 175,000 m³/h with a bag length of 6 m and a filter area of 1,400 m2. Delivery has been agreed for May 2011.
